Principal Legal Practitioner
Brett is the Principal Legal Practitioner of Freemont Family Lawyers. Brett's primary practice areas are in family law matters, intervention order matters, child protection matters and in wills, estates and probate matters.
Brett has previously acted in criminal law and civil law matters.
Before being admitted as a lawyer, Brett was a Paralegal and Law Clerk for a boutique family law practice in Melbourne and regional Victoria. Brett has prior working experience with the Commonwealth Government's Family Assistance Office and Child Support Agency.
Brett has appeared in courts right across Victoria and appeared or instructed in courts in New South Wales and Queensland.
Rachael Gavin is a Law Clerk with Freemont Family Lawyers.
Rachael is dedicated to providing first class legal services and is working her way to being admitted as a lawyer.
Rachael has an interest in the psychological aspects of family law matters, child protection matters and intervention order matters and is able to step back and assist clients by looking at the bigger picture and understanding what the issues are to help bring about the best resolution.
