Before being admitted as a solicitor in 2017, Brett accumulated a wealth of experience in the legal field, serving as a Paralegal and Law Clerk for a boutique family law practice situated in both the bustling city of Melbourne and the more tranquil settings of regional Victoria. This role provided him with invaluable insights into the complexities of family law and the intricacies involved in various legal processes.
His prior work experience also includes roles within the Commonwealth Government's Family Assistance Office and the Child Support Agency, where he honed his skills in family matters and gained a comprehensive understanding of the legal frameworks governing family support and child welfare.
Brett's legal journey has seen him represent clients in many interim hearings, showcasing his ability to navigate the legal system and client advocacy effectively. He has instructed or personally appeared at contested hearings and instructed in trials across multiple jurisdictions, including Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, and Western Australia.
